Monday Morning - Hurricane Beryl made landfall earlier this morning as a Category 1 hurricane with winds up to 80 mph in Matagorda, TX. Beryl is expected to ride just east of I-35, lifting north as it weakens to a Tropical Storm. Placement and track will make all the difference to the forecast. A Flood Watch is in place for McCurtain, Lamar, Choctaw and Pushmataha county due to heavy rain. Up to 3 inches will be possible. There is a marginal risk for severe weather east of 1-35 today for the possibility of damaging winds and tropical cyclone tornadoes. TCT's are generally brief and non-violent, but still need to be taken seriously. Be sure to have several ways to receive weather alerts today.

Looking Ahead - Beryl keeps the rain comin' and the air cooler as a result. High temperatures stay in the 80s through Tuesday. We'll warm up to near-average by mid-week. Mid 90s and sunshine for the weekend!
